Provide by the UK Schumacher company in 1995, the Storm Truck Club 10 is the re-use of a well know platform, the Cougar reveale in 1990.

This Storm is the second edition of the Club 10 named by Schumacher for their entry level cars. Compare to the first edition which is a clone of the Cougar, the second gently differ by less equipments.
For example dampers are plastic but piston can be adjust without to be dismantle. Schumacher call this technology “Vari Shock”.
In addition to this, the Storm Club 10 front train is improved by an epoxy part which take the wishbone axes, but turnbuckle are plastic without possible adjustment.

Overall, the biggest change come from the plastic gear box. Exit the belt drive and welcome to a 3 strong gears. A Balls differential is also include too !
This first time class buggy is provide with 12 real ball bearing. It’s a thing particularly rare for this range of vehicle and price. This improvement enable very good performance. Besides, as you can see, I put some more options parts like turnbuckles from Club 10 MK1, stainless hex screws and steering with ball cup.

Along with, the alumium chassis is not exatly the same as the Cougar (fews holes are differents for electronics), and there is a lot of place to reduce disturbance signal between components.
The Schumacher FH 1000 Electronic Speed Controller is an Mtroniks rebadged.
I install a “lovely” periodic wheel Hitec Lynx radio.
The body is amazing if you know to design a good paint scheme.
I admit it was not easy, it’s tooks me a while to obtain this result.
